The Flinstones is the story set in the Stone Age about the high jinx of a working class cave man, Fred Flintstone, his wife Wilma and his daughter Pebbbles and his neighbors Barney Rubble his wife Betty and their child Bam Bam. It was the first primetime cartoon aimed at an adult audience. The series aired from 1960 to 1966 and was the first series to be televised by ABC in color. The show has continued to run in syndication to this day, and has maintained its popularity.
